It’s a great source of various nutrients that many people don’t get enough of, including fibre, potassium, magnesium and vitamins C and E.
It is one of the favourite ingredients in lots of Asian desserts.
But do you know many taro milk tea shops use artificial taro flavour because it's so much cheaper and can enhance its naturally subtle flavour?
Make sure to ask them if they use fresh taro next time when you order it.

I'm always eager to try new and interesting flavors, so when I saw these Taro-flavored overnight oats, I couldn't resist. The taro adds a delightful sweetness without being overpowering, and the texture is just right. While it may not be everyone's cup of tea, if you enjoy trying new flavors, this is a great option.
I never imagined I would find Taro-flavored overnight oats, but I'm so glad I did! The unique, subtly sweet taste of taro perfectly complements the creamy base of the oats. The texture is smooth and enjoyable, and the beautiful light purple hue makes for a visually appealing breakfast. This has quickly become one of my favorite breakfast options.
I was interested to try it because of the flavour and this is soooo good! Will defo try other flavours.
