What is Hojicha Powder?
Hojicha is a traditional Japanese green tea, crafted by gently roasting mature tea leaves before stone-milling them into a fine, silken powder.
It shares a similar concept to matcha — both are whole-leaf teas consumed in powdered form — but while matcha offers vivid vibrancy and layered umami, hojicha is warmly aromatic, and deeply toasted. The roasting process not only transforms its flavour but also naturally reduces caffeine, — with up to 90% less than matcha — it’s perfect for any time of day.

How to enjoy
Whisk 1–2 teaspoons of hojicha powder with 60 ml of warm water. Add sweetener if desired, then mix with 180 ml of your preferred milk.
